Super simple and delicious, the Caipirinha is one of the best-known and loved tropical cocktails.
1. Lightly muddle 1⁄2 diced lime and 2 tsp sugar in a rocks glass to release the lime juice and dissolve the sugar. Don’t overdo this, as the skin of the lime can leave a bitter taste when crushed.
2. Fill the glass with crushed ice and add 50ml (12⁄3fl oz) cachaça.
3. Churn for approximately 10 seconds.
4. Top with extra crushed ice.
